Jan McNulty
This lovely interview with Francesca Hayward by Laura Cappelle was published in Pointe Magazine recently. It's well worth a read if you haven't already seen it: http://pointemagazine.com/featured-article/the-natural/
Sim
Thanks Janet, lovely interview. I'd have added Tierney Heap's name to the list of British dancers Cappelle mentions!
MAB
I want to see her dance Aurora, that radiant smile of hers makes her perfect for the role. That's she's got the technique goes without saying.
Jan McNulty
And this one from today's Standard will be in the links tomorrow: http://www.standard.co.uk/goingout/theatre/francesca-hayward-a-sugar-plum-life-a3213211.html "I just want always to move people. If someone cries, that’s brilliant" I wept at the beauty of her performance in Rhapsody.

capybara
Thanks Janet, lovely interview. I'd have added Tierney Heap's name to the list of British dancers Cappelle mentions! And I'd have added both Anna Rose O'Sullivan and Reece Clark as well.
zxDaveM
Well, the 2016/17 season will represent 3 years since the last run of Beauty so we should be in luck soon. And we should surely know soon as well. is it really three years? Time flies! With no Swan Lake as yet (and R&J must be due a rest too), I'd guess it was a pretty good bet to be one of the 'war horses' for next season's rep
LinMM
It's so long since I've seen this ballet that I'm quite looking forward to it being in rep again. Probably have to be a matinee though if it's longer than 3hours!! And hope Hayward gets a shot at it too among some other of the younger dancers. But it's a big role ....Hayward certainly seems strong enough. Edited March 30, 2016 by LinMM
Rachelm
Also an interview in the Evening Standard: http://www.standard.co.uk/goingout/theatre/francesca-hayward-a-sugar-plum-life-a3213211.html
FLOSS
The Royal ballet's Beauty may be slowing down but it does not last more than three hours. The artistic management just chop a bit more off to accommodate the modern performance style,
