Picturesinthefirelight
Dd wants to go to the Bird College Summer School. She is 14 which is the minimum age to attend. Accommodation is with one of the landladies on their list. Does anyone have any experience of this. I assume they are expected to find their own way to and from the college each day. Dh used to teach At Bird so we are familiar with Sidcup a little but dd does not know the area at all. Are they "looked after" as you would expect in a boarding house or are they pretty much left to their own devices as it would normally be over 16's staying there. Its a bit worrying but dd is completely unconcerned "don't worry I've got google maps on my phone mum!"
