HAIRBELLES Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 What date was your audition Dancing10 , I've had a look at previous posts and can't seem to see if you have mentioned it . We were at Tring on Mon 18th they said 3 weeks so I'm figuring we will hear on Monday . Fingers crossed for all those waiting .
dancing10 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 We were there the 19th. Only reason we keep looking is that last year our results came exactly a week after audition x
HAIRBELLES Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 They seemed to have quite a few auditions that week didn't they . I'm wondering wether that has had an impact on them getting the results out .
dancing10 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Another days post with no letter from Tring x
HAIRBELLES Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Oh no !! I've just logged in to see if you'd heard anything , maybe tomorrow .
Flexible Fred Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Omg, logged on at work Dancing 10 hoping you had news and we would have an envelope on the mat...ok same time tomorrow and Monday ,oh and Tuesday lol
Moneypenny Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 I can remember when dd auditioned for tring upper school, the invite to the funding final landed on the doormat on the Friday she broke up for feb half term.
Gollyrox Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Fantastic news dancing10!!! I am Out for the day so hopefully there will be a letter when we get home:) 1
kiwimum6 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Dancing 10 Â glad you finally got the good news you were waiting for. Â When are finals?

tutucute Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Good luck to all DC auditioning at RBS today in Covent Garden x 5
kiwimum6 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Good luck and don't be put off by the mega stretching going on everywhere 2
tutugirl Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Have only the girls had their Tring results - or are there any DS out there who have heard ? X
Anna C Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Good luck and don't be put off by the mega stretching going on everywhere Very good advice! Also (*whispers*) don't be put off by any associate-hierarchy/dare I say snobbery from some parents :-)Â The RBS audition is a lovely experience, try to enjoy yourselves. 9
dancing10 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Very good advice Anna ....have been on the end of some of that, rise above it and ignore is my advice x 1
sarahw Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I'm so sorry to hear that Gollyrox. I've been there and I know it's very hard x
dancing10 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 So sorry gollyrox ....sending you both lots of love xx
Flexible Fred Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Sorry Gollyrox, has your DS any more auditions coming up ? Or are you still awaiting on results from anywhere ?
kiwimum6 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Was just thinking that at least those dcs at RBS today won't have long to wait. Last year the results came on the Friday following the preliminary audition. Hope it went well for everyone today
All4dancers Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Although realistically we are not expecting anything, My child had a fantastic time yesterday at RBS. From the minute we entered the building everyone we met was friendly and welcoming and it was lovely to see how they reassured a particularly nervous girl. The panel were all very encouraging and my dd felt they observed everyone equally. And Daria klimontova took the class which was the icing on the cake! All in all a great experience and she came out in her words "buzzing "! Worth every penny. 7
Gollyrox Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Thanks everyone, he got through to finals at elmhurst so all focused on that now once he recovers from his groin tear:( 4
Harwel Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 What terrible timing for an injury. Hope he recovers quickly.
Pups_mum Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 DD has just had an email inviting her for a recall at London Studio Centre. I know there's still a long way to go and am definitely not counting any chickens, but it's very nice all the same. It was her first ever audition (besides stuff like EYB) so getting a recall has given her a confidence boost. 12
afab Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Hi Pups_mum, DD1 is at LSC if you're ever in need of information... Good luck for the recall!
dancing10 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Congratulations, which course is it for? 1
Pups_mum Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 She's been offered recalls for ballet or jazz, but as it was the ballet she originally applied for I assume that's what she will want to do - the jazz invitation was a bit of a surprise!
