  1. Thanks Tulip. One very happy Tringaling here. ????
  2. Good old fashioned cod liver oil? I believe it contains easily absorbable vit D?
  3. DS just heard by email he has a place at Covent Garden summer school
  4. Best of luck swanprincess. DD is in the morning
  5. A boy from Elmhurst I think (i got this info via an Elmhurst tweet)
  6. DS latest trick is getting his legs underneath our sofa in frog. Not useful for anything except getting a nice stretch (and some funny looks if we have visitors)!
  7. Is certainly at least one Tring pupil but I don't know what dance genre.
  8. Size 8 (UKsize) black Bloch split-sole dance trainers/sneakers. Look like new, worn about 5 times only due to DS foot growth over summer! £25 including postage - approx half price of a new pair. PM me if interested.
  9. So with the dates of auditions for the Upper School, is there just one day and it all happens for everyone then, apart from international candidates? I am also wondering how many there usually are in each audition group? Don't know if any of your DC have experience of this?
  10. £10 including postage and packing. Please PM me or reply to this post.
  11. Specially on the boys lol
  12. Sorry, forgot to say £5 plus postage!
  13. My non dancing DD skipped A levels and did an Open University degree in four years, working flexible hours at the same time. I don't know what age you can sign up for OU but I know of at least one ENB school graduate, now with ENB company who is studying law via OU at the same time as having a professional ballet career. Don't know how they have the time or the energy!
  14. I have the RAD Intermediate DVD, new syllabus for sale, £12 including postage. Please PM me if you are interested.
  15. I have one if you are still looking. Please PM me.
  16. Same problem in our house with boys! I took mine for a one- off appointment with local (male) chiropodist who showed them exactly how to cut their nails. After that they could take ownership of their own feet.
  17. Whipsnade Zoo! Live animals not stuffed...
  18. Thanks alison and Bluebird. My dd is lucky enough to have been cast as a child so I wanted to make sure I could see them from a good vantage point!
  19. I am wanting to book to see Swan Lake in the round at the Royal Albert Hall. Has anyone been to this in previous years who might have an idea of the best place to sit? Higher or medium priced seats would be preferable for me on this occasion but I have never been to a ballet performance at the RAH before.
  20. How about Grishko split sole canvas from Dancia in Covent Garden? Have just changed my wide-footed child to these and they are very elasticated which seems to give the foot a nice shape overall. Apparantly they are extremely comfortable to wear too so we will be back for future pairs, most definitely (not a cheap option though).
  21. I heard that the ENB company (who I like very much) are known by some in the business as Everyone's Not British lol
  22. Wow that is one tough day imho - a full day of dance then A levels after school?
  23. YBS is a really high standard with many RBS Upper School pupils attending, and sixth formers from other schools. The standard of teaching is amazing, in my opinion.
