Yes, Hirano’s operation was on his ankle - he has posted on IG a picture of the removed bone fragments.

Happy memories of Tamara Rojo as The Queen of Hearts - her picture in that role is the screensaver on my computer!

I think the speculation on this thread about why there is a cast change this evening is completely out of order and shameful. Some of the comments are incredibly unfair on some of the dancers and suggestions of a lack of professionalism are downright rude, incorrect and inappropriate.
Moderators will be reviewing this thread and, if action is required, it will be taken.

Pantuso (not Pantsuit as autocorrect would have it) came to many’s attention in the RBS main stage performance in 2021 when she was the Stop Time Rag girl (white costume with pink crossings and stars) in Elite Syncopations (and was on the programme cover).

If we become aware of anyone selling tickets through this website in excess of their face value, the ticket exchange will be closed.

Has she?
She appeared in Manon for Alexander Campbell's farewell performance a month ago.
Yes, she has moved on. A month is a long time in…- 1

as usual I've had no email from ROH about the cast changes
Might I suggest you contact the ROH to let them know you are not receiving these emails? They may be able to help.

The ROH top price seats are higher than average theatre costs - at least they used to be, not sure if that’s still the case.
I'm not sure the price of tickets has any bearing on whether a show is suitable for children or how they behave (or whether a venue is "prestigious", which to me sounds awfully like "elitist"). After all, a top price ticket for The Lion King*, just down the road from the ROH, is more expensive than a top price ticket for Swan Lake.

Repeats consecutively? ….so 8turns altogether from the same point …no step in between?
That does sound amazing!
Just to add there are different types of tours en L’air so establishing it ends in 5th position is info I needed …thanks Balletfanp!
And for the clip of James BBB.There is a step between the two double doubles (a quad double would be ridiculously impressive)

The latter
Sorry, misread the question. Here is a lovely example, from the RB's very own James Hay.

Just to clarify the double tours …is this the pirouette turn on demi pointe with the leg in second position ( 90 degrees horizontal to side) or a jumped tours en l’air where there are two turns in the air with leg held in second position?

@Angela. not quite sure what convoluted editing you've done there, but that's not my quote or question that you have attributed to me.
It was a quote within a quote (i.e. Angela quoted from Emeralds post quoting lady emily). I have put a note on this in the original post and as Angela has apologised, I think we can leave that and move on.

So if Onegin is so popular why aren't the RB bringing it back?
Who says they’re not?

As I don’t think I’m quite ready to stand for a 3 hour slog, I have SCS D26 available for 15 March. Face value is £14, please PM if interested (and apologies if there is a delay in my response as I’m currently on holiday).

As someone who has never tweeted or X'd, is this the sole source of publicity now for the ROH? I haven't seen any posters in the tube, although I saw ones for Manon. Nor have I received an email about it. The majority of emails I do receive are about the various opera productions.
I’ve seen electronic posters in a bust central London tube station, featuring Núñez in Requiem. -
It is worth remembering that Balanchine himself revised bits of this pd2 depending on who was dancing so, whilst there may be an original version, there is no definitive version.

I received the press release (in my capacity as a sponsor) yesterday afternoon. I’m sure it will be posted on this board in the near future, once the mods have had the opportunity to format it.
I’m very surprised to hear that you @capybara didn’t receive the same courtesy, as I see you are also listed in the PR as a sponsor.
