Royal Ballet - Swan Lake 2024

Someone once described Bourne's works as "dancicals" and for me that is the perfect description for them. -

And they would probably have a record as to who bought the ticket for that seat. I am so sorry you had to experience that, Emma. I certainly would not have been as restrained as you were!! -

Just keep checking our Ticket Sales and Exchange area. If someone is selling a ticket, you will find it there. You can also post up to let everyone know what you are looking for. -

Same....even more luckily, both at the ROH! -

Yes....I would recommend Vadim/Fumi and Yasmine/Matthew (although you can see the latter in the cinema soon so if you can only come once perhaps try the former at the ROH and see the latter on the screen). -

My personal opinion is that with Fumi and Yasmine Naghdi, the RB (and we the audience) is lucky enough to have amongst its ranks two of the world's finest classical ballerinas.- 767 replies

This will be so disappointing to everyone who bought tickets especially to see her. I almost did, but then couldn't go.

Dance Links for April 2024

This is already pretty bumper!!! -
Thanks. Well that's a bit inconsistent to me: 14+ for Manon and 16+ for DD?? I also think that Manon is much more graphic and disturbing than DD. Women get slapped around and raped, someone gets shot with blood spurting all over the place, old men get beaten up and robbed....much worse than DD, IMHO.

Message From The Moderators
Sim replied to BalletcoForum Moderators's topic in Performances seen & general discussions
Indeed. For that reason, we have decided to lock this thread. May I please remind everyone that we take a very dim view of people being 'outed' in any way whatsoever on this forum. Not only performers, but fellow forum members. People should be allowed to express their opinions without fear of any aspect of their lives being discussed or revealed without their permission. Everyone is entitled to privacy, and it's not for anyone else to divulge their profession, charity involvements or anything else. May we also remind everyone that this is not a fan site, and that negative comments about performers/performances/choreography/orchestral playing, etc. etc. are perfectly fine. In the case referred to above, the moderators did not find that there were any personal insults to the dancer in question, just strong comments about their technique. Had there been comments about the dancer's physical appearance then these would have been hidden immediately.- 12 replies
