My friend was told her daughter could do a separate audition but wasn’t told when and there was no confirmation on what would happen regarding funding so she doesn’t know what she’s going to do.
-
Yes the original dates were the other way around and some people didn’t get the new emails. I know of a couple of people who attended the wrong days xx
-
There were auditions on the 24th Feb for lower school and the 25th was for the diploma auditionees. Xx

Maybe wishful thinking but I think we’ll get the results today.

Didn’t they add more audition dates to this month? If so maybe they’ll wait until after that to make funding decisions?

It would be amazing to hear by the end of this week.

I’ve applied for the spring intensive for my dc for the first time. I didn’t see anywhere when to expect results. Does anyone know when results usually come out?

Hi, I would look at it as - there is no guarantee that just because you’re a JA or young dancer, you’re going to get a place in year seven. There are plenty of children who have never done associates with Royal Ballet school or Elmhurst and are just what the schools are looking for for year seven, so will be offered a place at this age. I personally would audition for both and see you which one your child enjoyed the most and had the best feel from. It doesn’t matter how well established a scheme is, if your child does not enjoy it there no benefit at all to them being there. They learn better being somewhere where they are happy and where they enjoy being over the name of the place/institution X

HI, how many hours of ballet are taught in year 8 please? How is that split between general ballet classes and RAD classes? Do they put the children through the exams as a class? And how many hours of dance in total do they do? Sorry for lots of questions xx

How many hours of ballet do children in years 10/11 do at Elmhurst? Does anyone know?

I didn’t see a deadline date on the website or application form.

Congratulations to your ds. My dc isn’t a pupil there so hopefully that’s why I haven’t heard yet X
