See my message below. I'm so disappointed with the lack of communication and have been told all MDS's have now been allocated and we didn't qualify for any additional funding. They wanted a response from us by today if we were self funding for September. I haven't responded and asked for more info. If they want a response they will have to get in touch with me. 😢

Hi. I really pushed for an answer and I got an email on Saturday to say all MDS have been allocated and we didn't qualify for funding and needed to let them know by today if my D was still starting in September self funded. I have asked for more details so haven't responded yet 😢

We were not invited on the zoom call. Hope that doesn't mean bad news for us and funding. The lady on the phone also seemed surprised we weren't on that meeting 😢

Other than arranging a time/ place to meet not sure how to do it. Are you members at the zoo? Could meet there? Cheshire oaks? City centre?Can admin on here help? Is there a way of passing on contact details?

Ah. That's a great idea. We've still not heard about funding so although I'm crossing everything my daughter can go it's not confirmed. We are local though. My daughter would be a day student.

No. They did get a bursary awarded which worked out about half the funds required, but they still couldn't afford the difference themselves. They still hung on in there incase any other funding became available e.g students dropping out prior to Sept. Did you have to accept by a certain date? We were given a date. Do they assume you're not going if you don't fill in the reg forms?

Still nothing here. In all honesty I'm prepared to not hear anything for a while as I know someone else who went through the same. Any notifications would be good though. Just as reassurance it's under consideration.

Hi We are in the exact same position. My daughter has been offered a place but not the MDS audition. She broke my heart when I told her. Do we know the date of the MDS audition so we can follow up with them?. I'm disappointed there has been no communication from the school. Like you I have spoke to a lovely lady on the phone, but the advise has been to email, but I'm not getting a response. Are you local? My D would be a day student as we live fairly close. I wondered if that changes the funding option?
