  10. Certainly some very powerful pieces. A personal favourite was the strong contemporary finale to Act 1 by Jodie Blemmings. This is a piece worthy of a professional company and has been performed strongly by the versatile Tribg Park dancers throughout the tour. There are also some excellent up and coming choreographers. Alfie Smith's piece ' detention in music room three' was both Osse and amusing. A name to watch for the future I think. He has won choreographic awards with NYB too. I saw both casts on different occasions and came away each time enthral led by the calibre of the show, the professionalism if the dancers and the enjoyment of the audience. Definitely one for the calendar next yeR

  18. I saw the 2 o'clock performance on the final Saturday of the Peacock run. It was fab! Having seen one of the opening shows in Shrewsbury, it was lovely to see how the students have really grown into the roles. Some excellent performances and super technique. Well done ENBS.
  19. I can't help for this year but they took about 12 girls and 12 boys two years ago and 5 more have joined her year, either new to the school or repeating a year.for whatever reason.
  20. When my daughter was in first year exactly one third of the students were from the uk. With the changes to dada even fewer British students might apply or be able to accept a place at ENBS in the future. I know that it won't be an option for my son:(
  21. Margaret she might also enjoy some of the London Children's Ballet DVDs which are on sale from their website and at the ROH ship.
