Hi thanks all for all the positive comments, I'm dreading telling her this afternoon, and yes it was all good experience, I don't think there were many places, just looked at trings website, next audition is 5th may, and now a £20.00 fee for the audition xxx

Yes i do agree, there were alot of girls there who were really flexable, but i was talking to one lady, and her other daughter was allready in the cba, and she said her daughter has really tight hamstring, so is still unable to do any splits and she is 11. This was out first ever audition so my dd was not stressed at all, cause she has never dealt with the No letters ! xx

I really dont think the splits was the be all and end all!!

lunges, head down to knees in straddle, and with legs apart, standing touch toes, holding foe 30 sec

yes, the had to do both splits and stay there for 30seconds but no middle splits, also other stretches! x

In group 1 there were 30 auditioning x I know mary was on the panel and 2 others x

Well audition is all done, think it all went well, now the wait beigins xx

is your dd flexable, as there is a flexability test?

Yes we are too! so im sure ill see you there along with hundred of other people, I know there are very few places and alot auditioning this time! xx

She is 8, never done an audition before so all new to us! what time is your audition?

My daughter prefers Canvas full sole ballet shoes, but her ballet teacher does not like them and wants her to start wearing leather, not sure why and views??

Yes I do agree, my 8 year old has stretched every day for her to be able to do her splits but my 11 year old is not that committed, and only stretches in her body condition class, and is not even near on the splits, my 8 year old is so much more committed to dance.

Yes it does seem to be the thing they are looking for, and at such a young age,. x
