    My daughter is 15 and a Central Associate. she did this last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. She said it was her favourite SS over Elmhurst and Central with great teachers and lots of content. She is booked again for this year.

    My daughter has just finished the BBA Summer Intensive. She said it was the best SS she has done and today was taught by Anna Rose O'sullivan. She can't wait until next year.

    My DD has been offered a place on the Senior Summer School, received the email on Wednesday, she'll be 14

    This is a fantastic school, my daughter is dancing with BBA and I can't recommend it enough. The Easter Course looks fantastic with some great teachers. It's based in Beckenham Kent.

    Before DD went we googled wilfried and he looks like a young good looking guy, my daughter said the man who taught them was much older! There was another man there with his leg in plaster!! Saying that anyone over 25 is old to my daughter.

    My daughter came out very upset! She was the youngest in the second group and said exactly the same!

    Well donre to your DD for securing a place at a vocational upper school without all the hours of training that vocational kids get. Non vocational school children must be at a huge disadvantage when auditioning for upper schools.

    Thank you for your replies. So a child who is not at vocational school would need to do 3 hrs a night after school plus Saturday classes to keep up! I would be interested to know how many non vocational kids are successful in securing places at upper schools.

    I know one girl going from CBA, she was in group 5, I am sure she will know someone, the ballet world is a small world

    Hi Lilac NYB are really good with room allocation, I would email Nichola Packham and let her know it is DD first time and I am sure she will put her with the right people. How old is your DD? The dorms start with 7 children then as they get older it goes down to 5,3 then 2. I am sure she will have an amazing time.

    Central associates and Summer school Hi, does anyone have any experience of this? My DD is starting Prep 3 in September and also doing the summer school.

    Mary wasn't there today so still non the wiser! Most of the girls in DD's class have heard but some haven't!
