  1. Sad to see the season already over for James and Ryo but health always comes first. Wishing them a speedy recovery
  2. With Émilie Cozette retirement at the beginning of the season and now Myriam Ould-Braham, I wonder if they will promote someone during the run of Giselle
  3. Congratulations to him! I was wondering why he was casted so little this season, probably because they knew he was leaving and he was busy settling in a new position. It is sad to see him leave but wishing him all the best in this new role.
  4. Lovely news! Congratulazioni Giacomo!! Looking forward to see more of him
  5. Oh wow, so unexpected but so wonderful! I still thought she was with her former husband and he was with Takada. They looks lovely in the photos they posted, so elegant and in love. The biggest congrats to them, wish them a wonderful life together!
  6. It sounds very serious. I'm very sorry for Steven, he is extremely unlucky! He seems to go from serious injury to serious injury with little "ok time" in the middle. Also sorry for Anna Rose but wishing the best to William and Fumi for their surprise performance.
  7. Congratulations to all the promoted! This year there was no "shock promotion" everything was well deserved and long awaited. I'm not surprised about the lack of new principals, they promoted a lot of new ones in the last few years and there weren't a lot of retirements. There is a good number of principals to hold the fort while future new ones are in training. Again, congrats to all, especially new first soloist Isabella.
  8. It's very sad but expected. I congratulate on an incredible career and I'm so happy she will continue to work with RB! I'm also very happy she will receive a warm farewell from both the UK and Japanese publics
  9. I wish Paul a wonderful future and I congratulate him on a wonderful career! As promotions go, I think that Sissens will be promoted to first soloist (I think they are grooming him to be the next male principal, maybe after the Hirano/Campbell/McRae generation retire) and for the ladies I really hope they will promote Pajdak but realistically I think it will be either Storm-Jensen or Gasparini. For soloists I think Dias and Sasaki for the ladies and Braensrod and one of Donnelly/Dubreuil/Dixon (they seem all equally possible to me). To first artists Maeda, Roscoe and Lubach for the ladies and Jun, Nakao and Bell or Wergzyn. Of course no new promotion son the principal rank.
  10. I wish her all the best for her future! I saw her Ig post in which she spoke about how she never really recovered from her injury 3 Years ago Good luck with everything Tirney
  11. Congratulations to all the dancers! I don't Know much about the Australian ballet but I'm very happy for the dancers promoted. Also, what a lovely way to announce the promotions
  12. Congratulations to all of them! This news affected me more than I expected (in a good way)! Honestly, I am surprised to not see Bracewell among the new principals. Still, very happy for all this amazing dancers, so well deserved! Bravi
  13. I'm quite new to the ballet world so this are more my hopeful prediction based on my personal taste rather than actual realistic predictions. I don't really envy O'Hare, it must be so difficul to make promotions in a company so filled of talent. So, O'Sullivan and Magri for principal, Pajdak and Hinkis for first soloist, M. Sasaki, Yu Hang and Dias for first artist. For the men, Bracewell and/or Hay for principal (also Clarke in a couple of Years), Richardson and Edmonds for first soloist, Sissens and Braenrod for soloist, Jun, Junker and Wegrzyn for first artist. Of course, not all of them in one year 🤣🤣🤣
  14. Very sad news! He was very young. I'm sorry for his family and friends. May he have peace
  15. Those looks like amazing programs! Does someone know if the live streams will available for a month like the Nutcracker-that-never-was was supposed to be?
