  1. Same here! I accepted the waiting list offer last week, just got another email asking to accept so did it again. Emailed them to make sure they received it!
  2. My fault for not explaining! Truthfully we were really hoping for Elmhurst or YDA but DD got a no for both for full time training next year. It seems to me that entering these vocational schools for year 10 is very difficult. If we move back next year instead, she would be going into year 11 which I think will be almost impossible. So right now my options are Moorland this year or continue here in Orlando for a year and take our chances next year in the UK! So much to think about!
  3. We live in Orlando so coming in and out of the UK involves quarantine both ways right now, plus a lot of cost unfortunately. I am in the process of trying to decide whether to move the family back this year or next - DD's ballet training is a big part of that as she is in a great program here in Orlando!
  4. My DD was offered a place at Moorland too for this September, but I'm unsure about sending her over to the UK ahead of us, especially as we can't visit in person. What year is your DD going into?
  5. Thank you for the welcome! I have already found so much useful info on this site - very happy to be here! Also happy to answer anyone's questions about dance training over here in the U.S! My DD homeschools to allow for her pre-professional academy training.
  6. Hi everyone, I am in the same boat - waiting for that email! We are expats living in Orlando and had hoped to move back to the UK this summer to be near family. Unfortunately my daughter got a no from Elmhurst and YDA, and as she's going into year 10, her options are limited. Hoping she may get a summer intensive spot with RBS.
