  8. Hello, (please delete if not allowed?) My daughter has National Youth Ballet finals on Sunday 2nd April 10:30am at Ballet Rambert School. There is a train strike on 1st April and the first train out of Leeds isn't until 8:20am (arriving at Kings Cross at 10:37am which is too late). Is there anyone in the North who is traveling down the same day that could give us a lift please? Happy to pay half the petrol costs Thanks in advance xx
  9. Hello all I am new at this vocational school malarkey! I didn't send my daughter for any year 7 auditions as my local council said they didn't pay fees. Then I found out about the MDS. My daughter has auditioned for a place at Hammond and they have offered her a place in year 9. Also the MDS audition on the 17th March. My uncle has paid the £160 (non refundable) registration fee and I have sent in the form and documents etc. So what actually happens in the audition. How likely are they to give funding to a year 9 student? Apparently there are around 40 auditionees and 8 places. What do they look for? Does the academic report from the current school get taken into account? Any tips and answers would be greatly appreciated xx
