My dd auditioned on 22nd April in Manchester. We are still waiting to hear but I know there were around a thousand who auditioned at that point. That was a mix of in person and online. I had noticed there are more auditions in July (only announced after the April ones) so I’m wondering if they will hold off from confirming outcomes till after that point.

Do you know how many are normally in a class then if they are mixed ages?

Interesting, I wonder how many they will take this year with the to socially distance in class.

My dd loved it on Saturday, she has asked to do more auditions so regardless of the result we are happy. Not sure though how many went for Manchester, we were in group 4 at Birmingham, which was in the afternoon. So I presuming the classes were mixed with children applying for Birmingham and Manchester.

Thank you, I’ll speak to her teacher to help her prepare. We have had confirmation that we will be going to the school itself for the audition and she is in group 4. Do you know if that affects her chances?

This will be my daughters first ever audition and we don’t know what to expect. Could someone talk me through what happens usually on the day? She is auditioning for yr4 entry at Manchester. Also is it particularly difficult to secure a place? Many thanks
