  1. Yes you are all absolutely right. I recall working some shifts in Covent Garden where Acosta danced in Spartacus somewhere around 2007/08 and assumed it was the RB but it was the Bolshoi visiting with him as the invited lead. Good point! Thanks so much for your contribution to the survey! I am astounded by the amount of responses and quality of the data we captured within a week. I will have a busy few months ahead of me putting the paper together but got some truly excellent material to work with. Thanks again for your time!
  2. It's lovely seeing the same ballet staged and produced at different venues and destinations isn't it? When I saw the Bolshoi's Spartacus last year I couldn't help but compare it to the RBs production from many years ago performed in London. This sort of things really add to our travel experiences don't they? which is what the questionnaire is looking at. Thank you for your contribution!
  3. Facebook reminded me this week that I was in Berlin in 2018 to attend Swan Lake at the Staatsoper! It wasn't the only reason why we went, but it was certainly mi highlight! Hopefully we can get back to it sooner rather than later. But in the meantime there is so much stuff to watch online to keep us entertained I guess!
  4. That's a really useful observation, thank you! That questions aims to capture views on what aspects of opera houses intrigue us the most. Of course if we have visited it helps massively but it does not necessarily mean we would need to have done so to be impressed by it. Thank you for your contribution!
  5. I know! So much variety between old and new (old being my personal preference)
  6. That's very kind of you Lin! Thank you so much. Here's hoping we can go back to watch amazing shows again soon!
  7. That's great Nina, thanks so much for your time! Thank you Quintus
  8. Thank you for your contribution Jeannette, I am sure it will be very helpful to the project!
  9. Thank so much Janet for the welcome and for completing the survey! The forum looks great
