Has anyone auditioned for stagebox recently and heard anything? It says 2 weeks for a result on their website but it’s been 6 weeks now. I’ve checked and told they’d let me know.

Are some DCs offered summer school through this process or is that a totally different route? I would love to have been a fly on the wall to see what they did. What a fantastic experience. Would love to know what the group swapping was all about… or maybe weather like Adagio123 said.

Can I just ask about associates etiquette. Do you wear your associate leotard if you’re auditioning for a full time place at that school or is it best not to?

In terms of tension in other parts, no, people often comment on her beautiful posture and long neck. It’s solely her fingers. It was picked up several times by adjudicators and her teacher.

She is 9.

I’m often told my daughter should soften her fingers in ballet but I have no idea how to do this. She seems to hold her tension there. I’ve shown her other dancers, we’ve talked about it and in exercises she’s great but put her on the stage and her robot fingers reappear. Any tips??? Yet in other dances she can soften them.

My niece is a JEP and she said there’s around 14 people on zoom I just assumed they were from her centre alone not sure if they’re from the other centres too.

I think the JEP students would form a class of new Year 5 on their own. It would be odd for them to be selected for that programme, train for a year and then say no to them.

We’re Birmingham Year 5. Hopefully next week for us then.

How have people heard about in person auditions from teachers? Do RBS send out correspondence to the dance schools we put down on the application?

My stomach went over when I saw April. It would be great to know either way by then. I just wish there was feedback from auditions as my dd decided to do it again but I’ve got no idea why they would choose her this year when they didn’t last time. What if it was based on her body type??? She can’t change that??? Oh well it will make her resilient if nothing else!

Does anybody know when the results might be out? I wouldn’t have thought a week would knock that out. I wonder whether some children might be called to audition in May????
