Hi. Just wondering whether anyone has had amy experience with Phoenix boys? I'm looking for more info other than what the BBC video and their own website have to offer and, ideally, some personal experience as thinking about booking the Birmingham Winter Intensive for my son.

Can anyone explain what a stagehand does please? I guess it’s not literally helping backstage?! Son a little confused but not unhappy after casting day in York as there were 4 other boys cast as stagehands.

On the back of this, has anyone got any recommendations for a male ballet teacher or a boys class in North Yorkshire or the North East please? My son participated in a YBSS boys pop-up last year in Birmingham where he was taught by Iain Mackay. It was hugely inspiring and he’s been dreaming ever since of doing boys only stuff. He’s 14 and in a small ballet school on the NY coast with very few boys. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it into the YBSS summer school.
