Do you remember what they did on the callback day? Was it similar to the first day? I'm just hoping there's no surprises (like the Jazz mentioned above!).
My DD is struggling to remember what happened on the callback day. There were 2 days and she thinks that the contemporary was on the first day. Then the callback day was a ballet class then a look around the school and physio. This was for entry into year 8 so may have been slightly different xx

For those doing finals over two days - do they generally wear the same leotard for both days or different? I know it really makes no difference to the outcome, just wondered!
When my DD auditioned for Elmhurst she wore the same leotard over all the auditions and then on the callback day she wore a different one xx

I don’t suppose anyone knows how many girls for year 9 entry have got to finals this year?

Thanks for replying. Yes I did check the junk mail, still nothing. I also sent email Rachal Torrance but it’s weekend
Were you at the callback day on Thursday? You could try calling the school now maybe someone there that can help. X

Year 8 for my son
Have you checked your junk mail? If you have nothing I would email Rachal Torrance and check as I think all year 8 results have come out x

Hello I am quite new to the forum. Congratulations for happy news. We haven’t recevied any mail from Elmhurst. Does this means a ‘No’? Thank you
I’m not sure, what year did you audition for? X

It was a yes for my DD 😊 xx

@dancermom I know about girls, but not boys. 29 girls (according to my not-always-totally-reliable pupil!) were at the second day and they’ll offer 13 girls places.
Thanks! That’s a lot to whittle down! X

@Dancermom Agh! It’s torture!
I know 😫 especially if we have to go through the weekend as well 🤣 do you know how many got to the callbacks and how many they’ll actually choose? X

Anyone thinking Elmhurst results today or tomorrow, or are we now assuming next week?
I think the upper school callback auditions are today so I would say tomorrow or early next week for results 🤦♀️ Xx

They said 10 days to us last year too, it was 10 working days I think. I think they do usually wait for graduate auditions as they are the following week. Only guessing but maybe because they need to know how beds they could possibly need in total ? Who knows.
I was hoping for this week but it may be a bit longer then! 😬 x

They said 10 days at the audition but I was expecting the results this week. Do they always wait until after the graduate auditions? X

Thank you. Yes she did. She reached the semis for Royal but unfortunately didn’t get to finals for Elmhurst. We were at Hammond finals so still waiting for that result 🙈.
We’ve done them all 😁. Hence the rollercoaster!
Oh good luck with the results from Hammond! It’s a crazy time xx

Good luck to all those waiting 🤞🤞🤞
Well done to your DD for getting the reserve list for Tring. Did she apply for Royal and Elmhurst? X

Elmhurst results will be next! X

Is that a definite timescale? I forgot to ask at both of them! And does anyone know if Elmhurst will be by email or post? Thanks 😊
I’m assuming Elmhurst will be by email. Rachal said 10 days and I imagine that meant ‘within’ 10 days so could be anytime next week 🤔 xx

Does anyone know the process at Elmhurst if children have covid? We have so many cases in schools around us and I'm panicking that there's going to be a positive test 😱!!
My DD is at the Elmhurst final on Wednesday too. I don’t think that they have asked to see proof of a negative covid test? X

oh the joy - another 2 weeks of OCD email refreshing!!!
Oh no! 🤦♀️
Elmhurst finals are next Wednesday so they may have their results out first then x- 1

Hi, would anyone in this thread have any idea how many girls for year 8 entry would have been invited to the Elmhurst finals? X

Sorry to revive this old thread but I didn’t want to start a new one when my query fits broadly under this. I was just wondering what happens after the MA assessment? First timer with any kind of RBS associates here. The emails regarding the assessment sound sufficiently ominous - like the offer of another year’s training is dependent on the assessment. I was just wondering, for those who have experience of MA:
- how soon after the assessment do you usually get the results?
- is it in the form of a detailed report? Are there marks?
- do they generally assess out?Yes I’ve been wondering all this too so I hope someone can shed some light! X

Does anyone know how the Elmhurst finals work? If you’re selected for a callback is that just a final check or could you still be turned down? My daughter is applying for year 8 and has a final audition.

Was this from Wednesday’s audition ?
I had results from the Wednesday morning audition yesterday. My DD got through to finals, she’s applying for year 8. She’s been a young dancer since year 4 and is now an extended, she applied last year for year 7 but never got finals.
It was a little different for her last year as they were mostly on zoom but the teacher dosnt talk about it or anything, it’s not discussed in class x- 1

My daughter is going to the semi final auditions at Elmhurst for a place in year 8. Is anyone aware if the class will be just entry into that year or whether it will be mixed with year 7 and 9 entry too?
