    Form 1 was Ballet Mon - Fri morning for at-least 2 hours and afterwards modern, tap, choir or drama. Academics in the afternoon . Contemporary not until Form 3 I think. No exams. No dance at the weekend Form 1 either.

    Standard of ballet at Tring is high. They do a little bit of tap, modern etc too although the main focus on dance course is ballet. I was impressed with ballet faculty when we were there although that may have changed. Form 1 - 3 get to audition for ENBs Nutcracker each year which was a fab experience for DD

    The date we have for acceptance of a MA place is 22nd May. Perhaps there will be movement after that. We were SWL a few years ago and it was beginning of June we got a place. Good luck!

    When we were there it was White House Guardians, St Albans. We were boarding but Tring gave me their details if we couldn’t get to the school on Exeat weekends

    Well looked after Tring academic uniform. Bought by us from Billings and Edmunds. Good quality and looks as new. Only worn for Form 1. My daughter was a small Year 7 / Form 1 Blazer (dry cleaned) size 30’’ Cardigan 34’’ 2 x skirts 24’’ waist and 20’’ length 3 x long sleeve blouse 30’’ 3 x short sleeve blouse 30’’ All laundered ready for a new dancer. I also have 3x leotard and 1 x unitard size S and a T shirt age 9/11 that I will throw in too. They are cotton Leo and so a little washed out but may do as spares (always handy when the washing doesn’t come up to boarding house in time) Academic uniform alone listed above cost £438 from Billings and Edmund. 🙈 Would like £125 plus postage please.

    I am about to cancel 2nd at 4.30 as we can’t get there at all that day. I’m not sure if they have them organised into sets/ages but perhaps they would let you swap.

    There are finals on 16th too. Is that for the juniors?

    The first year the Dundee centre opened we had dates clashing but in the years afterwards it was fine. I assume it is still same. SB MA is every Saturday when you reach that stage and RB MA Sunday.

    That was the wording of our offer 2 years ago and when I finally reached them it was confirmed that everyone with acceptance had a funding audition too. As I recall we had to wait ages for the arrangements of the audition too.

    We do RBS Dundee and SB - mids now. They schedule classes around one another now which is helpful. Highly recommend Kelly McCole. Both Julie Young and Yvonne Gray do other dance styles too.

    Sorry you are going through this. I know first hand how hard and exhausting it is. I could’ve written your post. We did year 7 and left at the end of that year. We finally made the decision to leave during Easter break following months of what you describe. The Summer term with them knowing they were coming home afterwards was the happiest one. We were too far to do every weekend visiting and that seemed to be what worked for others - breaking up the weeks. In hindsight, I would have pushed harder for more pastoral support. Boredom was a real problem too. Lots of free time after classes and weekends and not much to fill it with which really exacerbated things. Fast forward to now and I can say we have no regrets about leaving. The joy is back!! Feel free to message.

    I am just about to list for sale a Tring Park school academic uniform, bought new for my daughter last year for Form 1 if anyone is still to buy. Blazer, cardigan, 3 x skirts, 6 x blouses - short and long sleeved all good condition. Available after July 9th

    The last one I sent out I got a massive cardboard box for moving house and separated the sides. Tutu covered in black bin bags to protect from getting wet. Cardboard on the bottom. Cardboard on the top and brown tape all round the sides. Posted with Parcelforce.
