Last year there were 6 new London SA1 students. A couple were MAs from other centres and 1 left after a couple of classes but wasn’t replaced.
in July time there was an offer from the waitlist that wasn’t taken up. So quite a few new places.
Do you know how many are in the SA1 class?

We received a place from the waiting list 2 years ago for WL.

If anyone has a senior associate currently can they tell me when/ what time the classes run in London and how long for?
thanks -
Revisiting this thread and looking for feedback please for those that have been to Moorlands Summer Intensive and how it compares with others? Thanks
-
Thank you! I had actually messaged them about that

My dc has just been offered a place on the spring residential. Only applied last week as new to this and missed the deadline so expected to be wait listed at best. To those who have been before, did your dc enjoy it as it is a lot of money (for us) and want to be sure before we accept the place. Thanks
My DD has been 3 times now. She loves it.

Looking at the wording again it says in the first email they will send an info pack so I was expecting another email. It’s attached though

We haven’t received anything since paying the invoice either.
The one beforehand said 9am and class starts 9.30 - 4.45 -

Has anyone who’s been offered a place able to give any advice please. My daughter has been offered a place for September to go into year 8. I’m so torn what to do. And we don’t know anybody that has been this young to ask. It’s also crazy expensive so a bit of me is wondering did she get offered because she paying or is it hard to get a place even at that age? Any idea much appreciated
We were accepted year 7. There were only a couple I know of got funding in that year group the rest of us were fee paying.
Yes, it’s expensive. What I didn’t take into account was the cost of every Exeat as we are quite a distance - travel and accommodation every three weeks in addition to fees, billings and Edmunds for the uniform - Never paid so much for a school blazer in my life.Cost aside, well done to her. Not many spots in Year 8.

We got the results 27/2 last year. Did it close earlier? I haven’t been refreshing my emails but I will now start having read this post!

Has anyone had any further information yet? We got the initial email and the fee note but nothing else?

I got an email about pictures at the weekend so hopefully they are looking at them now and we’ll hear very soon.

I think we might have to do same.
Is it 13th or 14th start? The latest Facebook post says both

Wait list here too

@AllAboutTheJourney We lasted only Yr 7 for that reason. The long weekends, boredom added to home sickness. 3 weeks to Exeat was hard going.
The school itself is good, I had no complaints otherwise and we haven’t ruled out going back when older.
I’d be interested to hear what other vocational schools do at weekends from others who are there?

Can anyone who has experience of Tring let me know if the year 7/8/9 have classes at the weekends at all? And also what is organised in terms of outings etc. Do many kids stay at the weekends or do they mainly go home?
When my DD was there year 7 had no dance at the weekend. I believe that is same for year 8 too. It might be different now.
There were a few outings and activities. In my opinion there just wasn’t enough to keep them busy. When they get older they have more freedom to go out together in Tring etc
Those closer to the school did go home far more often. There were weekends where there were only a few in the dorm.

Just being an excellent ex ballet dancer doesn’t meant you are a brilliant teacher
No it certainly doesn’t and perhaps the majority have been taught in this manner themselves and therefore think it’s acceptable - the cycle continues.

Another Imperfect Pointes here. They are more expensive but I’m not replacing continually. They are the only ones that last for us and don’t end up that horrible washed out grey.
