Hi, could you possibly tell me what time the Saturday morning classes start at WL please? Thanks v much in advance! It sounds like they have a nice variety of activities for the afternoons☺️

Does anyone know why they call the international students in on different dates to the UK candidates? On the website it states ‘All successful candidates will attend a final audition in London’ so it can’t be that they’re assessing videos, they must be in person auditions. I don’t see why they’d separate them, surely they would want to be able to compare them to the others?

My dd got a ‘yes’ for week 3, really hoping a waitlist place comes up for you x

I hope everything has gone well for the boys at WL today. Rest up tonight (parents and dc!) to prepare for tomorrow. Does anyone know how many boys were at the finals and if all managed to attend today?

My dd received the same offer today, although it confused me in the opposite way as we were hoping for a day place and it said about being waitlisted for a boarding place and I was thinking I don’t remember asking for one!! So I think it must be the same letter for all, regardless of what you’ve applied for. From previous years, I seem to remember the suggestion that all are offered waitlist until they know exactly who has accepted places and distances that people will have to travel. On this topic, @SJBallet did you check these dates with RBS after they changed the boys finals in case they changed these too? Boys were 10th & 11th then moved to 7th & 8th, so I wonder if the girls also moved🤷🏻‍♀️ I didn’t think finals would be as early as 3rd March when the last semis aren’t until 18th Feb, and it will probably take them a week or so to get results out so that would only mean one weeks notice. Although this is the first year they’ve had semis so anything is possible I guess!

I think there must have been more than one group yesterday as my daughter auditioned in a mixed group of 12 children, roughly half boys and half girls. When we were waiting for our talk from the principal and directors, we did see a group of boys who weren’t in the Tring uniform so I presumed they were also auditioning. I know that Monday & Tuesday next week are audition days, so hopefully they will start sorting results out after that.

Did anyone on here audition in Newcastle? Or personally know anyone who did? I’m wondering if there is anyone who will be able to let us know when results have started filtering out, or if perhaps people could have started to hear already and we don’t know! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was literally just coming on here to ask the same question! My dd is doing her filmed exam as I type and I was wondering on results time as last year it wasn’t great🥴 She did her last exam on 4th November and didn’t get the result until 25th Jan, so just under three months! Very much hoping they have got used to the system a bit more now and we might not have to wait so long this time🤞
