I think YAGP have an online music library, different speeds available of solos, they are tailored to be accepted at YAGP due to copyright laws, but might be worth a look 😊

My daughter uses one and thinks it really helps, we bought the Hydragun atom mini as it’s small enough to pack in her dance bag, really happy with it, my husband was a little cynical about getting one but he now uses it regularly after sports himself.

We are applying for RCS this year, I’m aware of the UCAS separate application process, but my question is, would anyone be able to advise me what the photo application requirements were for last year, if their DC’s applied? They seem to be updating the application requirements at present, so no information is available and unfortunately no one is responding to my emails or answering the phone and My DD has her photo shoot for US photos on Sunday 😬 I appreciate these may change this year from last, but thinking I may just have last years ones taken in case. I would chase them, I received my daughters assessment report (albeit a while after the event) think it was early August in the end.

The admin for CBA is a little slow, from past invoices/term info sometimes can appear in your inbox the day before you are due to start. They do not expect invoices to be paid before start date if this has only been sent out the day before. Hopefully you will hear something by the end of the week 🤞🏻

Also to add, depending on when you need it, I have ordered the Leo’s direct from their Shop in America, and they have come super fast (within in 10 days) and the cost/post wasn’t dissimilar to buying in the UK.

They will post if they have it in stock, I had a similar issue with a white bulletpointe skirt, their really lovely and so helpful

Hi, I think Dancing Boutique in Tunbridge Wells stock and fit Suffolk pointe shoes. I don’t have any personal experience buying Suffolks from the shop, but they are very helpful in other items I’ve purchased in the past so might be worth contacting them.

There are some coffee shops about a 10 min walk away in St Margaret’s, towards St Margaret’s station, or Richmond is a 20/25 min walk across the bridge beside the river and there’s plenty there, also lots of benches/places to sit alongside the river.

Hi selling a brand new (only tried on) bulletpointe velvet trim leotard in colour plum is size XS, beautiful leotard but I would say comes up slightly smaller than the bulletpointe pinch front style, hence the sale, and sadly too late to return it. £45 free P&P style is on just ballet for reference

If it’s the same shop that Kanangra has mentioned above, I ordered a Leo that never came some months ago, I ended up getting a refund via PayPal as they never responded to my chaser emails for weeks, Weird though as the website was then updated and the Leo that I ordered disappeared so looks like someone is about to do this .

Have you tried The Dance Shop Edinburgh? Think they are on Instagram they stock CD or devoted to dance also on Instagram

Hi, my DD wears Bloch Lisse, and I darn them from new (not softened) but would agree they are extremely tough! I’m fairly new to darning so definitely no expert, and have only ever darned this style so can only advise what I use which is a strong straight needle, a thimble to push through at an angle and pliers to bring/wiggle through the other side. I only darn the edges though but have to say it does take my hands a while to recover after, just enough time for a new pair to be started xx

I think if you have entered an application for Spring Intensive most use the same photos if you are re-applying for summer, I know I have. It’s does however state the following on their website……. Please use current images and do not use any images you have used in a previous Royal Ballet School application. Although as my DD has got older I have started to retake the photos for each application due to how much she has changed/improved in the photo positions they require, unfortunately I cannot say if this has increased any chances of getting in, as we have always had waitlist, new photos or not, in around 6 waitlist applications she has received a waitlist place once, but this was for Spring and new photos were used for this application. Sorry probably not much help, I think it’s personal choice if you want to reuse them, and whether you can deal with the stress of retaking them 😆 I don’t think Royal would discard your application if you do despite what they suggest on their website, but maybe if you think they could be improved it could be worth doing.
