Thanks @cluelessdancemum I've just had an email from them explaining that it's because she is 16. She can go on the waiting list if she wants to apply for dance college at 18 but otherwise its mainly for up to 16.

@cluelessdancemumdid the SA  report say whether or not they had been offered another year? I got an email to say that the report would state either way,  then the report came separately but it didn't say anything!

Looks like some emails are being sent out today.....

My daughter applied for Senior associates. Not CAT. Shes 15. We just got an email offering a recall.

Anyone know if northern ballet have re opened the senior auditions?? Their website says senior associate places still available?? I have sent an email to query but wondered if anyone on here knew?

My daughter is in the same boat. (Although auditioned for senior class). We've known a few do the recall audition over the years and they usually find out pretty soon afterwards. I guess this year they'll just have to wait!!

Ah that's good. The website says we will hear the week of 28th March but we haven't heard anything yet. Was worried we had been missed!

Is anyone doing Hull associates and also London classes  and in mids? Just choosing which days to go to London...

Mine is desperate too especially as her friend has just got in from reserves! Next year maybe!

Just wondered if anyone who auditioned for York dance scholars in april and who got onto reserve list had heard anything, or had got a place?

Interesting that york scholars are told not to mention on social media...

My daughter goes to ballet boost. She thoroughly enjoys it. It is not something that her dance school suggested. She applied and auditioned herself although got her teachers permission. Her teacher is keen for her to audition for York Dance Scholars.  She admittedly doesnt know too much about ballet boost due to it being quite new but has had a number of students over the years attend YDS. 

I suppose my question is does anyone have any good ...or bad experience of BB or YDS...or even better does anyone have any experience of both and are able to advise on differences?

I have no idea if she is good enough to get in at YDS but if she does I don't know how to choose!
