Hi I'm looking for a class in the same style as John O'Brien used to teach at City Lit in London for years on a Monday and Friday morning and also , in more recent years, at Pineapple. A fantastic combination of continual movement , stretching and ballet form both in the barre and centre. His classes were sometimes covered by someone called Tamara, who I think had her own school in SE London somewhere. Anyone know a class or who used to go to his classes I'd love to find out some more information. I went for years while I lived in London from the 90s to 2000s

BTUK School Uniform some still with tags on as daughter only stayed for 6 weeks and didn't dance for all of that! Black Gilet XS £20 as new Tracksuit x1 M (Top and Bottom) £30 as new Tracksuit Top only Size M £15 as new Black Shorts with logo XS £10 BNWT unworn Black / White Vest with logo XS £10 as new Black Lycra Bra Top with logo XS £10 unworn Black Fitness/Crop Top with logo XS £7.50 logo already starting to deteriorate on this though also only worn a few times. White T shirts x2 with logo XS £7.50 as new Move Dancewear Black Skirt S/M £8 as new Black School Blazer with Badge Marks and Spencer Slim Fit Age 13- 14 years £15 Worn once for a trip Black Bloch Bootees Size M £15 also only worn for half a term but fabric looks slightly snagged on 1 boot - think the velcro catches it but otherwise in nearly new condition - happy to send photos if you're interested. Cost £40 via school website!

All I can say on this thread is that sadly my dc had personal experience in all the areas Tring just failed in, despite the school being challenged by me. They have acted swiftly because they had to - if an acceptable plan had not been put in place by January they could have been deregistered. The changes have been too slow for my DC who was mentally devastated by the time spent there but I hope that they will mean no other students have to suffer. My DC’s treatment while there will take a very long time to work through. Tring has the potential now to become a really great school.
