Thank you for clarifying that. I got the sense from their email that the finals were to decide production or touring. Their email said: ‘From this final round, the panel will select dancers to form the LCB Company and Touring Companies.’ So it is still one more cull to go. I’ll have to calm my nerves! Good luck all. Can I please ask, if you make the finals what will the 21st November audition be for? Does it mean you have a place either on production or touring company and they’re just determining which one or is it one more final cull? Thank you

What are the chances of getting a yes, if you’re on the SWL for London? I just want to manage my daughter’s and my expectations. It’s so exciting to have gotten this far and we’re not daring to dream too much.

To be honest, I think she’s gone backwards since the lockdown because all her lessons are on zoom and she’s had very little studio classes - probably the same as everyone else. But I’ll do them again. I was interested in what everyone else was considering doing. Thank you! X

Can I ask whether you would use the same photos and videos as you submitted last year? Our teacher is shielding and she took our pictures for us last year but not the video - I did that myself (with the guinea pigs chuntering in the background!).

It’s been so hard to navigate this dance world especially if you’re not from a dance background and have just come abroad. She accepts other pupils from other schools for her associate program as well as students from her school. She wants DD to attend but we can’t make it work around school at the moment.
