DD is on the reserve list too. She didn’t take it well as she wanted it so badly but in the long run I think it will all work out for the best. It was a fabulous school but so far away for us that it really felt as though we’d be sending her properly away. I’m sad for DD that she didn’t get the news she wanted but relieved in a way. It feels as though we have come full circle having received an offer earlier and then going through the audition process to come right back to where we started but I’m so pleased we’ve done it as what I felt was right in my heart turns out to be the place that DD will be 😁We can now plan ahead and look forward to September. Good luck to all your wonderful children. The resilience they have to go through this process with the knock backs and offers along the way, they will all be stronger for it. Exciting and nervous times ahead for us all I’m sure. Good luck to all having to make decisions Trust your gut feeling 💐

Which reinforces I think that they might have done it differently this year and the yeses are out and the rest will follow after Tuesday.

Congratulations 🎉 No post yet for us either! I hadn’t dared read this thread since yesterday! But there’s more of us in the same boat than I thought! Fingers crossed we all hear Monday, although we won’t be home until late so I can’t stalk the postman. I wonder if they’ve issued the yeses and then are waiting to see if they’re accepted before sending the next lot? The wait is horrendous and I don’t know if thinking this makes it worse or better 🥴. @balletboy8Do you mind me asking when your deadline to accept is?

DD said that they said at Tring maybe a week but if not allow 2 hence the constant asking already but I’ve said it’s more likely next week. Although I looked back to last year and I think they were a week.

They’ve said they’re having an open afternoon at the boarding house so to visit if we like but welcome to arrange an alternative time if we prefer.

I don’t see why not. It says to have a picnic in your car doesn’t it but it also then says the Hilton is close by so surely you could go to the boarding house instead. We only have an hour to wait so will have lunch and then go to the boarding house after physio. Quite interesting to see exactly how many will be there on Monday x

Can the dancer dance in them first? That sometimes loosens the satin! The last pair of Bloch I darned a month or so ago were horrendous as the satin was so good tight it kept splitting. I had to go under the satin (what was left of it) at an angle to get it to hold. One side was much worse than the other. I’ve got a pair of Bloch Lisse to darn this week but they’re going back to the dancer this eve as they are needed for class and I’m hoping that will help a bit.
