  1. That’s what was suggested (the bus) but then I was a little concerned when a TfL worker said the bus doesn’t run at the weekends!!
  2. Hello all I was planning on getting the train as I’m coming from east London, but someone suggested getting a bus from Richmond tube (district line) Does anyone have any useful advice? many thanks as always
  3. A collection of inspiring interviews and striking photography from prominent brown ballerinas. The Ballerina's Little Black Book compiles a wealth of stories, advice and training information directly from the women who are breaking down barriers. Aspiring ballerinas can read messages from famed dancers like Aesha Ash, Alicia Graf Mack and even a personal message from none other than Misty Copeland. Filled with wisdom, solutions, and powerful visuals, The Ballerina's Little Black Book is the ultimate handbook Brought for my daughter who wants to pass on now Paid over £30 for this to get to us as I Couldn’t find anything like it at the time in the Uk😳😳 Selling for £15 happy to send a pic of the book-tried to upload but file too big!
  4. Thanks so much we sadly had to cancel the summer school as other issues came up glad it was a positive experience for you
  5. It’s funny but I’ve noticed some schools are far more strict than others when it comes to standard of bun!! my dd always has a bun in for training, but some places expect it to be slick-not a hair outta of place...others are happy for you to just have it in a bun with net or whatever! Constant bun wearing can play havoc with the delicate baby hairs at the temple!
  6. Hi all x Ive seen some old post about this school...just wondering if anyone had any recent feedback about their experiences there many thanks in advance x
  7. https://naturalhairqueen.net/gorilla-snot-gel-natural-hair/ this is an interesting article about the snot gel (sorry I had to say that!) it’s not a natural product, but then we only need it for exams and auditions
  8. It’s in Afro shops -my daughter has very curly hair, so she uses this to keep her bun slick they do different strengths -for European hair I wouldn’t recommend the strongest! can get on amazon
  9. I have no idea! It’s strong enough to be!!😆
  10. Gorilla snot hair gel....I’m not joking -that’s what it’s called 😝
  11. We will most likely stay with bb. I agree with you in regards to their professional attitude and organisation around restarting classes my dd really wants to attend the Tring audition as she found the experience last year, a positive one!
  12. You and I have the same predicament although my dd is a little older added complication is that her bb classes are in the afternoon for this coming term rather than most of Sunday lord knows what we will do if she get offered a place in Tring we just wanted to do the audition! Last year was a no, but it was one she wanted to return to what with Tring opting for live auditions in a few weeks, everything has gotten somewhat more complex !!
  13. Thanks I did have a look before -very Informative
  14. Doesn’t need to be harlequin brand anything that is suitable for ballet/pointe that will help to save my flooring!!

  17. And What Resilient young people we are raising!! certainly not the types to give up after the first “no” A characteristic that will so useful in later life!
  18. Why on earth would a school insist on only one brand of shoe to be worn??? the mind boggles at the costs involved with having to replace dead pointes each lesson!
  19. Perfectly written I like to hear about successes, but you are so right -it can make it seem as though everyone gets in to what they want ....which we know isn’t true!
  20. OMG!! You coming from Barry!!!!???? will you come form the night before?
  21. We are senior a class too ! class time on a Sunday morning travelling from east London 😳😳😳🤩🤩🙈🙈

  23. We were there for a year it was ok, but I think since last year, class size increased and teaching time decreased it used to be the majority of the Sunday rather than a few hours I think it’s a good starter associates course the Easter week training and subsequent show was good value for money staff are friendly enough
  24. Within a week very quickly -I was surprised
