    I think I recall him saying that he is not that interested in whether his productions prove to be lasting...he seems to be more inclined to jump from one project to the next, taking rather an ephemeral, "butterfly" approach. Being generous, this could be argued to be celebrating the excitement of the creative process itself. If I am being ungenerous, it could be seen as a good excuse for some works that seem to lack new ideas and end up quite similar and forgettable.

    Peregrine performed in Fille for BRB at Sadlers Wells a few years ago...is he now redundant and out to grass, or worse.....?

    One possibility would have been to give Hirano a shot at the role, rather than playing Lescaut, though he does perform the latter very well. Edit....I see @Emeralds said the same above.

    It was to do with a bit of everything, as I recall. I just wasn't really convinced by his performance, and along with other posters, I am rather surprised to see him back again.

    They have been paired together on the last two runs. I am afraid I was disappointed with his performance, so not planning to see these two again. Very pleased to be able to see Takada/ Campbell again, and also very happy about Kaneko's debut with Muntagirov.

    Romany is cast in the "Sea of Troubles" film to be premiered in the Clore in October. I don't know when this was filmed.

    Yes that's true....and useful for catching up with other casts if you're seeing your favourites in the Opera House.

    Tending to spend a similar amount overall for fewer performances.....being more selective in terms of choice of production and casts, now being more familiar with the ballets on offer, and the dancers cast. The downside is that this " I know what I like" attitude is probably narrow-minded and just reinforcing my prejudices...😬

    The Magazine doesn't make it clear exactly which prices apply to which seats....we await the seat plans as @JohnS mentions.

    At least the ROH provide credit vouchers if you want to return tickets for a booking, so you could consider cancelling The Limit and booking Don Q. instead....

    I feel your pain @art_enthusiast! So let us hope for an injury-free season for Akane (and indeed all for the dancers) and that you now get to see her perform Kitri. If you want to see her in the role in advance, it is possible to buy a disc of this from Japan, in the last run (with Alex Campbell); unfortunately the ROH didn't release it here. Whilst I am very pleased that Akane and Luca are back on for the 28th October, it is frustrating that the error means a somewhat more limited seat choice than I could have had yesterday.

    I also had a bouncing waiting time, initially between "10mins" and "1 min" but then it settled down and I ended up with a 10 minute wait as first stated. Apart from that, the booking itself went very smoothly. I agree the website currently has various serious issues, but I wouldn't go so far as to call the actual booking system a disgrace...I have always found it pretty good.

    Yes they were originally also down for 28th Oct evening as stated by @capybara above. One performance only seems somewhat of an insult somehow - albeit better than none!

    Just spotted this too @capybara.....very disappointing as this promises to be such a great pairing, and deserves more than one outing.
