Today at a summer course, I have been told knee drops are an important skill for contemporary etc. But I don't really understand them, is there actually a safe way to do them? All I seem to do is bruise my knees? Any tips would be appreciated.

Do not worry, there are quite a few beginners going into year seven and even a handful joining for later years x

I understand it may change each year but, as of this academic year, which auditions require a solo. Furthermore, do they require self choreographed one?
