  1. I hope everybody has a lovely break, regardless of whether their kids decide to do summer schools or not. Just to clarify - as far as I'm aware ( although do contact the school) the course is open to anybody who is free on those dates and dancing at an advanced level similar to kids in vocational school. The school runs lots of courses, so if this one doesn't suit, another may. I believe that Josephine Holling is also teaching some of the course. Over and out!
  2. Hi all - The Royal and YDA also break up at the end of this week as do Arts Ed. Sarah runs more general courses in Spring and at Christmas too, so do check out her website! This particular one is aimed at ballet students in full time training. Her private coaching is also very good.
  3. I believe that Sarah also has a "Summer Sensations" course running 18-22 July for students not in vocational training.
  4. and they are excellent - I just became aware today through a vocational school that a couple of places have come up. Sarah's a brilliant teacher and many of her pupils have got places at vocational schools
  5. Hi there, no I have absolutely no commercial links at all. DD has attended these in the past.
  6. Sarah Toner (former Birmingham Royal Ballet) is holding a week-long ballet summer intensive from Monday 11th July to Friday 15th July in North London ( close to mainline stations, Piccadilly line and Victoria Line) for students in full-time vocational ballet training. The cost is £300. There are a couple of spaces that have come up at the last minute. For more information please contact Sarah on: 07968891751 or by email sarah@sarahtoner.co.uk
  7. You could try the Sarah Toner School of Ballet in Highbury, North London http://sarahtoner.co.uk/ Sarah has a Summer intensive for vocational students aged 13-16 from 11-15 July
  8. My child attends YDA and the teaching is very good. They are able to cater for the full range of abilities. Considering their intake is mixed ability their results are very impressive.
