Hello, we received a lovely 'no' letter this morning. DD auditioned for Group 5 and the letter states that she might be ready at next opportunity and acknowledges her dancing was of a good standard. She wants to audition next time anyway but was wondering if this is a standard 'no' letter? Many thanks and congratulations to all the yeses!! ????

My DD was in group 5 on Sunday and appeared to be the only one not stretching! She said she was already warmed up as I "made her walk all the way from the train station!" Lol ☺️

Reserve list too for my DD, does everybody get reserve list if not cast? DD feels pleased with how much she learned and is already talking about next year! X

My DD was also Group C on Sunday. She was disappointed not to have been called for contemporary, does anyone know why this would have been? She's not particularly hopeful of a place as she's non vocational and very new to ballet but she would have liked to have made more of the opportunity by taking part in the contemporary. Good luck everybody! ????

Hello, my DD is 14 and has been placed in Group 5. She will probably wear plain black leotard, black belt and convertible tights. Good luck to everyone! ????

Hello, our first post and DD's first experience auditioning for NYB. She is a tiny 14 year old and has been recalled for Group C on 8th May. DD's teacher didn't seem that happy she was auditioning either?!?! Good luck to everyone for finals. How many as a percentage go through, does anybody know? Thank you so much. ????
