    What has happened to Emily Umbrazunas with graduating from RBS? No listing? But was used extensively on RBS tour in Swan Lake ...... anyone know?

    DD has been wait listed for SS at WL now for the past three years - so there appears to be 'something' that catches their eye. However, agree with Nama in that, we know of several girls that were either at international comps or who took 'open classes' for international comps and were given places. DD was also excepted into another international SS in the USA whereby we had to submit a 6-10 min video with particular criteria stated to submit. Yes, more time consuming but possibly gives the staff a better understanding of how the applicant looks within a class situation.

    Amme - I emailed the school via their website on two separate occasions and also called them and left a message before the cut off date to make sure they had rec'd DDs application, as if they hadn't I would have had time to re-send. I'm going to try and contact them once again just to try and find out. Thanks for the responses.

    Morning. Did anyone receive a notification of confirmation of their application? I tried contacting the school on three separate occasions just to confirm that they received my DD's application (posted from Syd Aust via registered post and signature required upon receipt - and yes it was signed for - but then my query is - by whom and did it get passed onto the right person?). Also as we're 'international', do you think they would post our result or email? Thanks everyone!

    On their website is says that you will be notified within 4 weeks of the closing date - which was I believe 21 March for the younger kids .... so over the next four weeks I would assume they'll begin to notify applicants.

    Hi everyone, just reading along and smiling at all the wonderful news We're still on the wait list for WL, however, we've also just received some news regarding US summer schools. We're still keeping our fingers crossed for RBS. Maybe we'll end up cross crossing the globe! And I'll keep working for a few more years!

    Midwifemel - got our email last year around 615am on the day after (Sydney time ) - they seem to send out mid to late afternoon UK time.

    Hi there! Just joining in here . DD applied for SS last year and we were put on the selected wait list. It is what it is. All you can do is apply and that's it. I remind her that there will be more "no's" than "yes's" in this world of dance. Just like at eisteddfods, one week she can clean up and the next nothing - just depends on who is watching and what they want at that particular point in time. Happy dancing everyone.
