  1. I've left a voicemail. Hopefully, I'll hear by Monday. Not going to say anything to DD until I know for sure.
  2. I'm a bit confused by the letter we got. DD auditioned for JA's in January and got a recall to the final audition on 1st May, which she attended. The letter says: 'Thank you very much for auditioning for the National Youth Ballet. We regret that on this occasion we are not able to recall you to a second audition.' Well, DD has been to the second audition. Do you think this has been sent out in error? It just doesn't read correctly to me. I understand if she hasn't got a place, but the letter looks like it would have been sent out after the initial auditions. Anyone?
  3. I know of a few JA 'No' letters from the first and last auditions. It would be interesting to know how many will get through. All very exciting, isn't it?
  4. Thank you. No, she isn't an Associate, but will be auditioning this year.
  5. Hi Janet, Sorry, I've only just seen this message. I will look to do this now. Thank you
  6. I hope you hear soon. I can't wait to pick DD up from school and let her know. This will be the icing on the cake of an amazing week for her. She got the results of her grade 3 ballet exam yesterday and got a 98, so is flying high at the minute.
  7. So happy. My DD got a recall for the JA's. Who else has heard back? Well done to everyone
  8. My DD is 9 too. Definitely an early night for us as it is a fair way for us to come down. Good luck to your DD
  9. Hi Southerndancemum, My DD will be auditioning on 31st too. It's her first time auditioning for NYB, so will be interested in any tips you get. How old is your DD? Like your DD, mine has performed with EYB before, so is quite excited to see what the NYB audition is like.
