    Is anyone else experiencing problems with submitting the application? I have everything completed, but then when go to the payment page there is a problem and I can't make payment.

    I am in the US. This was our first summer intensive "season" here as my daughter will be turning 10. The season seems to start early January, and is ending now with audition tours almost over and deadlines looming. I let my daughter audition for a few programs and she had a ball:) She was accepted to the programs, so I am now facing deadlines and trying to decide. It was a surprise for me that we have these choices! I'm glad to hear of a positive experience at Gelsey Kirkland...we have to choose between Gelsey Kirkland, Joffrey Academy (Chicago), and Bolshoi. My daughter loved the Gelsey Kirkland audition and wants to go. So I think that's what we'll do. We gave it a try at RBS and were waitlisted. And waiting on Paris Opera, but that, like RBS, is a long shot! It's been fun, eye opening, and I think will result in a great three weeks at intensive in NYC! The site mentioned is wonderful...full of lots of reviews that have been very informative.

    vmmom...congratulations to your daughter on attending last year! Last year, did POB also set a date when they would notify applicants of results? And if so, were they pretty firm with that date or was notification given before/after? We have looming deadlines for deposits at other programs, all before the POB stated date of 2/12.

    My daughter did a video and we sent it in to Paris Opera. I received an email saying they would give results by 2/12. But then I received another email saying my creit card did not go through...I didn't factor in the difference in how expiration dates are displayed in English vs. French on their form. I tried to clear it up, but honestly have no idea whether it ever worked out (after several attempts at email/calls). So I'm not even sure that the application went through...I ended up photo copying my credit card and mailing! I have heard this program is extremely selective...much like RBS summer school. But I'm new to all of this so not entirely sure. My daughter is just 9 and not in a vocational school. She works hard, but I think it's a serious long shot! She's been accepted to a few programs here in the US that have deposit deadlines approaching, so it would be nice to know...

    Just received Wait List email for White Lodge for my 9 year old...first time applying. Email said 1680 students applied? Wow!

    I know what you mean about wanting to plan for the trip from abroad! We are in the US, so it would be great to know as soon as possible for travel arranging purposes. We also are submitting a video audition to Paris Opera...I read those results will come February 15. It's a serious long shot for my daughter. She is only 9 (will be 10 in March). But I agree that it is an incredible opportunity if she is accepted!

    I believe the application said results would be sent by February 1st, but just checking to see whether anyone has heard from RBS regarding admission to summer school?
