I did think about emailing them and have resisted the very strong temptation. I did start to wonder if result will come by post or email as the last message (inviting to Finals) just says that results will be received by Saturday, no mention of letter or email. Postman had been today so I am still hoping it will be email!!!

Agree, I am constantly checking email and Balletco in search of any news. Even news of 'no news' eases the anxiety a little!

If it's 4 hours, I would be tempted to drive home as only 40 mins away for me if traffic is good. Otherwise, shopping is my fall back - Bicester or John Lewis near High Wycombe? Or there is Champney's spa close by if you feel the need to relax during what will be a stressful time!

Just seen that LCB tickets are now on sale so the cast list cannot be far away I would hope!

My email was down the morning of results last time, then thankfully started working again in the afternoon! I'm sure that you could call them in the circumstances once results start being posted.

Anyone know how quickly results from Finals tend to come out? The email said by Saturday but I'm hoping that it will be earlier for those of us who applied online. The emails for Finals came on the Weds afternoon so hoping that will be the same again!!

Me too. This is absolute torture!! First time we've been through a process like this but certainly won't be the last as DD has really enjoyed it, no matter what the result of the Finals is. I don't know if I can stand the stress!! Hats off to those who have done all this time and time again. I can only imagine what the waiting is like for those applying for vocational places.

Thanks aklf and Kiwimum6. DD safely delivered for the 9/10 year old session this morning. She was very happy as she had the same number as for the first audition which is now her lucky number! Good luck to everyone else auditioning today and hopefully some good news on the forum within a week. Let the nail biting begin again!

I don't believe that it requested a response but I did drop a quick email to confirm receipt. Hope the postman brings good news today for those still waiting.

We are P surname, age 9 and got our invitation to finals on Weds at 2.30pm. I think that I'd be very tempted to give the office a call if I hadn't heard by now and applied online!

Congrats to your DD Tattielashes. My DD (also 9) is midway through the LCB audition process at present and is keen to audition for EYB next year, probably Crawley or Oxford. Interested to hear how you found the audition.

Anyone have any insight on what to expect at the Finals? How many from each age group are taken through for how many places? What kind of exercises do they do? This is our first time with LCB and DD is SO excited to have got this far so want to provide her with as much information as possible so that she can really enjoy the next stage. Many thanks for any advice.

No, still (not so) patiently waiting!! The audition email did say results by Sat 7th November so only a couple of more days to wait at most.
