So deserving. The happiest 'ballet news' I've heard in years. In the words sung by the late Etta James: AT LAST!!!!!!!

I paid for the DVD, although I knew that I would be seeing the dreaded Grigorovich production with the 'Candelabra Guys' and the ill-fitting cottom ball wigs on the snow ladies! What makes it worth my while are the beautiful leads, Kaptsova and Ovcharenko, and certain soloists, such as Medvedev in the Chinese dance. The HD filming is pristene. It's a shame that it is this production.
