  1. Ironic that after all those years of being told that you MUST NOT login before the appointed time we are now being advised to do just that!
  2. Did anyone go to this? I'd love to know if anyone else found the music much too loud for comfort (threshold of pain!) and the speech so distorted as to be almost unintelligible.
  3. I am quite short and even for me the leg room in this part of the amphitheatre is only just enough. I find the problem is aggravated when your neighbour is average, tall (or dare I say it fat) and keeps trying to steal some of my space. Its worth remembering that the front row of the amphitheatre although the view is great has less room and that is why it is cheaper in the centre block. I would go for the seats in row C if only because they are nearer the aisle and quicker to get in and out of if you have to catch a train an the end of the show.
  4. I had one batch of tickets in my basket early on and (fortunately) decided to complete the purchase of those as the site was behaving strangely. Then went back to book for another production. Found my basket still had two items in it.... two separate donations of £3.00! Cleared it and then tried to make my new booking and for every pair of seats I selected was told they were not available. Managed to keep going and finally looked in my basket again and found that it contained all four of the sets that "weren't available" - cleared the spares and tried to complete the purchase, by which time system was shut down. Contrary to what Alex beard says above I certainly didn't get any message that the site was up again but luckily I did try again later on and amazingly I could select and buy the seats I had lost the first time round! It's annoying that all the priority allocation of Insight tickets has gone by the time the lower levels of friends get a chance!
  5. I go to more opera than ballet and usually only browse your forum out of interest. However reading this thread has given me the urge to post as I want to draw attention to the seemingly almost limitless allocation for seats that can be bought within the new flexible packages. http://www.roh.org.uk/help/package-faqs There is a specific allocation of seats set aside for these packages and they do not include the cheaper seats. Even so it is a strange policy that allows such a generous allocation of seats at a discounted price (even for the most in demand productions) yet puts a strict limit on other purchasers. As many other friends have found, it seems the choice of seats is now very limited after the higher levels have had their pick and I often get a better choice when general booking starts. Yesterday I was able to pick up Clore opera Insight seats when there were non available when priority booking started . ps It is good that pick your own seat is now available in the Clore!
