For me a Dream Season with 7 full length ballets: La Bayadere - Don Quixote - Swan Lake - Onegin - Sylvia - Alice - Manon (so 3 Petipa, 1 Ashton, 1 MacMillan, 1 Cranko and 1 Wheeldon)

Again Cuthbertson at cinema relay? Boring

It's weird that first cast (Osipova, Watson, Soares, Arestis, Saunders,Nunez and Bonelli) has only 3 scheduled shows and the second cast of Cuthbertson&company has 4 shows.

I'm impatient to know Principal casts for the cinema screenings!

Watched "Sleeping Beauty" yesterday at cinema. Really disappointed about Lilac Fairy. Ignoring the Solo that was not elegant, safe and precise I found Laura McCulloch no reassuring and warm as fairy. Bulky as presence. Steven McRae is a real prince. I loved his performance. He has a wonderful technique and a prince charming. His jumps, his lines, his technical skill are a joy for the eyes. Sarah Lamb is really nice as Aurora in the first and third act. But I didn't like her in the second act. Not so convincing and lyric. She was wimpy, dull, without any kind of pathos. Lovely Yuhui Choe and Valentino Zucchetti as Princess Florine and Blue Bird. Waiting for see Nela and Thiago performance. Can't wait!!

I don't understand why the people say Osipova is Kitri. I find that Osipova is exaggerated and her way of interpreting Kitri is for me vulgar!! Not to mention the movements technically inaccurate and without elegance. Yes, when Osipova dances Kitri is always on fire...but we have to consider other aspects also, including what i wrote above. Marianela has proven to interpret Kitri perfectly. Her movements are always accurate. Her head, her arms and legs are surreal for perfection and precision! She does not miss a detail. She knows when to smile, when to seduce, when be naughty or sweet. Everything is perfect. And above all, I'm glad her dance and her art, admired around the world Wednesday evening, will be an inspiration for many people and young boys and girls.

Yes we have to wait a while before the cast of Winter's Tale will be confirmed. I'm really curious!

I haven't seen the show, but I have Mayerling DVD at home and I think Mara is the Italian art par excellence. Mara is the daughter of Italian art of acting. She is a great dancer and a refined actress. She plays every roles so naturally and true and that makes her a star.

Hello, I read on Roberta Marquez instagram (under a photo posted by her) that she are going to dance La Bayadère also the 2nd of May. I suppose she'll also replace Sarah Lamb? The text of her answer says "Pre general 4th April performances 12th April, 2nd and 6th May"
