    We have one very nervous little girl in our house today. I think that she is more nervous than she was for the audition last week. Like danceintherain and waitingmum's dd's my dd was part of the call back too which has made her more distressed. This is such a difficult time for both daughters and mothers alike. Just hope the email comes today. It took me twenty minutes to open the email after the preliminaries so it may take me a couple of hours this time. Good luck to everyone waiting for results today. Big hugs to everyone.

    Does anyone know how many girls were recalled for elmhurst year 7 finals? I know how many were recalled for white lodge but was just curious to see if the numbers were similar.

    My dd also attended this summer school a couple of years ago and enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend it!!!

    It is a yes for us for white lodge finals for year 7. I am truly amazed. Had to go into school to let my daughter know as she was so nervous about the results. She was absolutely thrilled!!! So sorry to here of the no's but as it has been said it really is only a no for now. There are many success stories out there of children reapplying and getting a yes further down the line.

    Happy mum. As far as I can remember the last two years it has been boys first and then the girls on the second date. Although it may be different this year.

    My dd is auditioning in Manchester in 7 days time. Not really expecting much success but she will love the experience. Good luck to everyone auditioning. Fingers crossed.

    Just opened the letter with much shaking of hands and my dd has got finals too!!! So pleased for her.

    I got a letter today from elmhurst which set my heart beating so fast that I could barely open it. Unfortunately, it was only a bill that I had forgotten to pay. Cruel.

    Well DD loved the audition today and I loved the school. Keeping our fingers crossed for that letter now. Strange to think that the people who auditioned them already know who will be going to the finals.☺️

    Yes we have an 8.45 start too and auditioning for year 7. I'll look out for you and will say hello. There are quite a few girls I know that are auditioning tomorrow so I will probably be in a fairly large group.

    Hi Happymum. I guess there will be lots of households like ours all over the country with nerves jangling. My daughter is so desperate to gain a place that I am just dreading the whole process. Just don't want her to have to experience such bitter disappointment.

    My. DD will be auditioning on the 18th too for a year 7 place. The nerves are building in our house.

    Thanks for your replies. I have checked my junk mail but there is nothing there. I think I will wait until Monday and send them an email.
