  1. Congratulations to you did. My son has done 3 EYB performances and although a massive commitment he has thoroughly enjoyed every moment. He learnt so much and made lots of lasting friends (he too was shy). The performances are fabulous and so professional and as a result he has now turned to full time vocational training at 16. I would recommend the experience to any dancer, just be prepared to put the hours in.
  2. Hi, Information is now live on website. Letters are usually sent to dance teachers with all the details. Well done!
  3. Thank you, I should have said, I have a son. Do you know where boys gravitate towards?
  4. Does anyone have any experience at ENBS please? If so, I would love to hear about suitable accommodation for 16 year olds, experience of living alone in London, expenses etc.
  5. Thank you, I will. I am finding the whole process so confusing, wanting to do the right thing for my ds and wondering if we can afford his dream in reality.
  6. Does anyone know how much Elmhurst fees are for Upper School if a DADA is awarded please? I have been on the Dada website but cannot understand what we would need to pay for living costs. I am totally confused and need to make a quick decision.
  7. Not sure if this is in the right place: Does anyone have any first hand experience of living accommodation for boys (aged 16} for Central or ENBS please? If so, please PM me. Where do students plan to move to when the schools move, will the accommodation stay the same? Thank you, we are in a bit of a quandary.
  8. Anyone Heard from ENBS (2 nd of Feb boys) yet ?
  9. Hi, Was that for Upper School on Wed? If so, did you get any indication of how long before the results please (my Ds attended without me). Thank you
  10. I attended Upper School with my DS, he loved every second, not sure how many were at vocational schools though. Now the serious times begin!
  11. We use a ‘bun maker’ which is like a wrist slap band. They are easy to use and keep the hair in place all day as it wraps over the strip and can’t come out easily. My daughter has used these for approximately 3 years (she is now 11) it didn’t take long for her to be proficient.
  12. Fantastic news which made my eyes well up! Well done, I am so pleased for you.
  13. Thank you, I have read so many posts and this has been invaluable information over the last year, so I thought it might be a good time to ‘join in’.
  14. Oh, how agonising for you. I have everything crossed! Surely they have to honour the “yes” email?
