New Adventures and Central School of Ballet announce a new partnership

Northern Ballet School provide some students to perform with ENB Company during the winter months when ENB perform in Manchester each year. ENB Company also use the school for their morning ballet classes during this time. Only 100 students in school ( just over 30 in each year) so it's lovely when ENB Company are in. My DD loved it last year. A small group of students including DD were asked to come to a ballet class watched by the principles of the company! DD loved it as they spoke to her afterwards too.x- 23 replies

Can any of you wise owls think of any good ways to increase the flexibility of the lower body. I have a 14 year old Ds who is still struggling with the splits. Any advice welcome.x

Regarding the Royal upper school how many are in 3rd year? I did think they took nearly 40 into 1st year.x

Elfies Mum, I know of a Ds who heard on Saturday that he has a place at Central. He was on the reserve list.x

I disagree with the amount of hours my DD didn't start ballet until 8 and only did 2.5 hours of Ballet Rad and 1 hour of Tap and 1 hour of modern and got into 2 out of the top 4 for a yr9 place. She is now in a classical upper school on a Dada. It can happen. Incidentally on the application forms they ask how many hours they do,so I would imagine that was taken into consideration when assessing the child.x

You can buy a low cost teenagers multivitamin in Boots which contains 150% NRV of vitamin D. My DD lower school and upper school both have educated them on what is a good diet and why they need it.x

In my DD age group only half of the children in yr11 started in yr7 across the 4 lower schools. Obviously some were assessed out or choose to leave also the year group tends to go up by two extra students in yr9/yr10. X
