    Due to a bad cold/persistent cough I won’t come to the performance on Saturday. Obviously short notice and I shall return the ticket to the BO tomorrow but if anyone would like it, pm me. It’s D48 £12. Thanks Jacky

    Hi all - I'm looking for one SCS ticket for the evening performance of Cinderella on Sat April 29th. I won't be able to get to Laura's final performance in Anastasia, so this will be my last chance to see her on stage. Fingers crossed that there's a spare ticket out there! Many thanks Jacky

    If that is so, then it's always passed me by - I find it sad and without hope .... Maybe I'm wrong, or it's just the performances I've seen, but it doesn't give me any sense of anything positive.

    Yes, I was at that performance too, and the incident happened at an emotional part of the ballet for the dancers anyway, which must have made it even harder for them (the mirror pdd). The rest of their performance was outstanding, which was a real achievement. We will miss her.

    Oh no - I've just realised that I'll be away for her last performance - so Sim, you'll have to have a drink in the bar for me!! I agree with you that she's been underused, but I do so value my memories of her very special performances. A unique dancer!

    I agree - I wasn't going to go to this - I really dislike it - but will now have to. I can't miss her last performance, even if it is such a non-uplifting end to a stellar career ....

    Very sad to hear this but as Dave says, good news that she will still be part of the RB. I will miss her on stage - I’ll not forget her stunning performances with Bonelli in Onegin and Mayerling.

    Yes, I was bemused as well - the options seemed completely illogical and pointless given that none of them offered my usual seating choices, and they were for programmes I had already said I was not interested in. I'm not sure what they'll learn from my answers, but I did it as well as I could! And the prices mentioned seemed incredibly high too.

    Jan - sorry to be dense but do you think the Cranko book is new or re-isssued? I can't seem to find that info - it has a publication date of 2022 but the photo on the front looks familiar ...I borrowed a biography like that of Cranko from the library a long time ago. Thanks and apologies Jacky

    Melissa Hamilton was a wonderful Vetsera - beautifully judged and danced. I saw both her performances and found her totally compelling. I also thought Ryo elicited sympathy, particularly in Act 3 - together they really moved me.
