  3. i have 2 SCS tickets for this performance - D47 and D 48 @ £14 each. Cast currently Lamb, Hirano, Hay. Pm me if you're interested. Thanks Jacky
  4. I have 2 tickets for the matinee of Giselle on Thursday 18th Jan at 14.30 at the Coliseum. I bought them on Today Tix so they're reduced - I paid £40 each (they were originally £67 each) Dress Circle D47 and D48 - I believe they're quite good. I'm only asking for £60 for the pair of tickets, and can forward them electronically. PM me if interested. Many thanks Jacky
  5. I'm now selling my SCS ticket for Anemoi/The Cellist on Nov 1st eve - D48, £9. Cast for The Cellist is Magri/Richardson/Braendsrod. Pm me if you're interested. Thanks Jacky
  6. I'm looking for one SCS ticket for the evening of Sat Oct 21st. I already have one SCS (D48) for Wed Nov 1st eve, and would be happy to swap that for Oct 21st if anyone is interested. It's the same cast for both performances. Otherwise I'm looking to buy a ticket for Oct 21st. Many thanks Jacky
  7. Finally got my 2 tickets - I'm on a Mac, and Chrome worked where Safari was still showing 500 Error. Don't know if that info helps anyone.
  8. Same for me - complete shambles. Tickets lost. Regular punter almost lost ......
  9. Really bad today - as others have said, I got the 'exceeded ticket limit' when I had only got 2 tickets, then the site crashed and my basket was empty- it's so frustrating that there are problems every time. Stress levels going up .... And now it's saying 'technical error' and nothing works .....
  10. I agree. I kept my Friends membership going all through the lockdowns etc because I felt I was supporting something very important, but I too am considering whether I want to continue. There is now nothing I would choose to see before January anyway.
  11. But unless they are assuming that those newbies will be so thrilled that they will return in the expensive seats rather than keep on buying standing places then they are simply replacing us with new standers. And how many of us have stood next to newbies who have not returned for later acts because they are tired or not enjoying the standing experience? And the trouble is that the amount of money they would lose if we didn’t go regularly - say 54 places x£10 - isn’t really that much.
  12. But on the other hand, people who want to go to the ROH for a 'once-only' experience won't want to stand - and those people going for a 'treat' will pay for a seat thinking it's just a one-off. Taking someone out for the evening and saying 'oh, by the way, we're standing' isn't exactly going to make for a fun time. It's only those of us who really want to see a particular performance/cast and go multiple times who want to stand. And we're being priced out.
  13. I'm afraid it's me out until Jan ..... I can't think of a West End theatre that charges as much as £26 to stand. What a shame.
  14. Sadly I can no longer get to London for this performance, so I’m not still looking for a ticket. Thanks Jacky
  15. I'm looking for one cheap ticket for Friday May 19th as it's more or less sold out and the only remaining tickets are very expensive. Thanks Jacky
  16. And not enough ‘real’ dancing anyway. I just remember the seemingly never-ending lifts …..
  17. Good point, Jan - I know they'll all be great! I haven't seen it before, so I'm really looking forward to it.
  18. Thanks, Peter - at least I know that I haven't missed seeing it then! So I might just have to take the plunge and buy a ticket without knowing the cast - all the performances seem to have sold quite well and I don't want to miss the chance of seeing it.
