I may sound like a stuck record - but I have only positive things to say about the academics at Tring . My DS got great GCSE results and 2 good grades in A level Maths and Physics . His best friend got 3 A* and went on to do medicine . Neither could have done any better .

Is anyone selling a Clara dress and or nightdress please ? To fit approx age 11-13. Thank you

Thank you all for your posts . Several forum members have got in touch already and it looks as if we are going to be welcoming students from Tring , Elmhurst , Moorlands and Hammond , as well as our lovely non vocational students . We are excited to be creating some new pieces , and putting together a show , where each student will be given an opportunity to perform in several pieces . For those with children who board , this is quite a rare opportunity . We also offer private coaching by arrangement - with the young men being coached by our male teachers which is so good for them . A nice opportunity to try / develop pas de deux too . I think the host families should receive a high accolade for providing the students with a happy and nurturing family environment . Life long friendships have been formed which is wonderful . My annual Summer School will be held on August 1st - 5th inclusive. It will take place at University Academy Keighley This culminates with the students performing in the theatre , which is open to all . The course is open to Vocational and non vocational students of all levels . We usually get a nice cross section . Groups are small to enable individual attention. Our focus is Classical and includes : ballet , contemporary, pas de deux and jazz . Faculty includes : Martin Dutton from the Hammond Vocational School , Barnaby Packham and Rita Pires , company members from National Moravian Silesian Ballet Theatre - more to be announced . Its a happy friendly Summer School with great teachers . Very reasonably priced - and a wonderful opportunity to perform before an audience . Message me for more details . 5 girls and 1 boy for year 10 . So few MDS to go round the whole of the year groups . I don’t think they said how many there were .

Yes indeed . My DS messaged last night to say they have just welcomed a Ukrainian girl into their company 🇨🇿

How did everyone get on at Tring funding final ?

Results from last Monday’s audition are out if that helps .

DS went on some great trips whilst at Tring . He went indoor pot holing and to the shopping centre at Milton Keynes , also to Cadbury World ! All trips were optional - they just had to sign up for them and we got the bill!

I presume so . I am guessing this is the last one before finals .
