Fonteyn/Nureyev gala in Moscow

Le Théâtre Stanislavsky Theatre hosted on 24 and 25 April a gala in Moscow of Ouliana Lopatkina, dedicated this year to Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev.

 

The newspaper Kommersant announces that she will perform with Danila Korsuntsev, l'adage from Marguerite et Armand, as well as Birthday Offering of Frederick Ashton (music of Glazounov)! She will also dance Forebird, not normally in her repertoire, and the pas de deux from Raymonda and Le Corsaire.

 

Guests included Evguénia Obraztsova (Bolchoï), Anna Tsygankova et Matthew Golding (Het Nationale Ballet), Myriam Ould-Braham (rebaptisée O'Brian) et Alessio Carbone (ONP).
