Anjuli_Bai
I've seen quite a bit of Eifman and always found the dancers to be absolutely marvelous. There are lots of "WOW" moments in his productions but not many "AH" moments. I've oftened wondered why he doesn't vary the pace of the productions - very little adage - which gives the ballets a frenetic feel - it's all on a fast train. I also think it is a body of work that will not outlast the choreographer, it's hard to see other dance companies including his work in their repertoire. If you haven't seen Eifman - it is worth going - the dancers are terrific.
alison
Yes, he had some great dancers in Onegin last year - just a shame about the production
aileen
A fabulous trailer. I must book. Is this music (Danses Macabres?) used in either of the ballets?
