Bruce Wall
The official notification of Mr. Fairchild's departure from the Broadway production of AiP can be found here. As much as it is gracious of him to reportedly wish to to perform in a London production of AiP, I pray that he does not do so at the expense of his artistry as is so clearly and continuously exhibited at NYCB. Here I refer to his comment that had he not planned on leaving the original production of AiP he would 'probably' have 'ended up in a wheelchair'. Wulff
In this month's Dance Europe Magazine there is an advert for auditions for a possible, and as yet to be confirmed, London production of American In Paris in 2017. Let's hope it materialises.

Bruce Wall
Garen Scribner (formerly a soloist with San Francisco Ballet) has taken over from Robert Fairchild (now fully returned to his rank as principal at NYCB) as the lead in AiP opposite Leanne Cope (formerly of the RB). Scribner will play the role of Jerry on Broadway until he leaves to star in the AiP First National (USA) Tour opposite Sara Esty (herself formerly a soloist with Miami City Ballet). At some performances the role of Jerry on Broadway will be played by Dimitri Kleirois (late of the Royal NZ Ballet - a Company recently seen on tour in the UK).
