Osipova, Corrales, Nunez in La Bayadere.  How delicious ... and for the Cinema cameras TOO!!!  Plus Nunez, Muntagirov, Osipova!!  There IS a god!!  :)  Only wish they would announce the principals for SinC ... if only just for the first two movements.  Ah, well, it's the Royal Ballet ... and nowadays that's good enough for me!  Love the casting for The Unknown Soldier.

Someone called Jackson is dancing Nutcracker on two occasions with Yasmine as SPF - who is this?

https://australianballet.com.au/artist/kevin-jackson

Kevin Jackson, Principal - Australian Ballet, is guesting with The Royal Ballet as announced a few days back.

Now it's clear why there is an exchange (!) : he will be the partner of Yasmine Naghdi. (what about Matthew Ball??)

Glad to see Ashley Dean gets a chance as Clara - that alone might tempt me (having sworn I would not bother with the current Nutcracker again). I remember she was a jolly good White Cat in Beauty!

No Bhavnani as Elisabeth in Mayerling. No Kish in Nutcracker.

It looks as if Zanowsky's guest artist stint may have come to an end, I really hope not. Already she is not listed in the current programmes - a pity as she is such a wonderful Elisabeth.

I think Countess Larisch is Kobayashi's best role; interesting to see her doing it again after a quiet season.

Some very tempting Bayadere combinations. I can't wait to see Corrales in this; strange he is not down for Nutcracker though.

Now my hope for the three soloist shades on opening night is: Morera or O'Sullivan/Hayward/Naghdi or Stix-Brunell

would like to have seen more debuts for Rudolph in Mayerling, but not complaining about what's on offer! Wish I enjoyed Bayadere more, but that's my problem. Like the look of the triple bill, particularly as I've not seen Symphony in C, and the tickets are pretty reasonablypriced.

I think you'll find it's Nunez/Muntagirov/Osipova in the cinema on 13th November but it does all get (nicely) confusing!

Does anyone have information on Sarni who is down to make his Bratfisch debut on October 17? A Google search doesn't bring anything up. Could it be a typo?

edit: just checked the PDF link given by BBB and Sambé is listed there for October 17. Must have been a typo.

Disappointed that Naghdi isn’t cast in Mayerling.

I had my hopes up high too for her to dance the title role in Mayerling (as she was not Manon this time around). There are no debuts at all in the title role, but the great news is we'll get to see her in La Baydere as Gamzatti, a fab role for her!

Personally, I don't see her as a Mary, Stephanie or Mitzi. I think she's more likely to a be a Larisch or Elizabeth, but in a few years time.

I know Alexander Campbell is guesting in Australia, but I worry that he appears to only be doing Bratfisch in this whole period. (Unless he's involved in the triple bill though not named.) I hope there will be more to keep him busy later in the season.

I'm thrilled that Hirano is doing Rudolf.

I don’t want to seem ungrateful and mean no disrespect to the fabulous Hirano, Hamilton etc, but sligntly disappointed that they’re the only ones doing a Saturday matinee as that’s the only time my Aunt can take me, and she always treats me to a really good seat as a Christmas present. May also have to get a cheap amphi ticket for another performance....

To be fair I would go to watch Naghdi do any role - even to watch her read a telephone directory as someone said recently 😉 - and I have no doubt that her intelligence, acting ability and musicality along with her technique would mean that she could play any role in Mayerling extremely well. I realise I may be a little biased...and I appreciate your views, Darlex  whilst disagreeing with them 😉

Yesssss!!! Nunez/Muntagirov/Osipova in Bayadere. My dream casting and to be filmed too. I've always wanted to see Osipova/Muntagirov together and to be in Bayadere... My cup runneth over!!! Also Osipova/Coralles/Nunez; another fabulous casting. November is going to be expensive and Christmas presents severely curtailed! Interesting Osipova/Nunez are alternating Nikya and Gamzatti which seems contrary to recent RB policy. Perhaps it's just as well Mayerling casting is rather uninspired as I couldn't afford 2 lots of brilliant casting. Re Mayerling broadcast I'm disappointed Bonelli/Morera aren't being filmed as I thought they were terrific in the last run. Finally Muntagirov/Nunez also being filmed in Nutcracker; Christmas has just come early. Like Bruce I'm disappointed about the lack of casting for Symphony in C but as I can't book until public booking July 25th perhaps more will be known by then. A shame there is no matinees. if I go at all it will probably be Nov 23rd as Hayward/Ball are dancing and weekends are better for me. Interesting Kevin seems to be splitting up some partnerships; no Hayward/Campbell or Sambe (perhaps to do with Campbell doing the Australian exchange) but no Naghdi/Ball either. Still it makes for interesting dynamics.
