Peanut68
Have stuck with DD being added to my own policy with Aviva....it renews in August which works well with the new school years as I have found that she has needed physio sessions for at least one complaint per year & it has meant all her care has been within the annual session limits so no added expenditure thankfully. School arrange the appointments, a simple phone call to physio with policy no & all very smooth with Aviva paying direct. Of course, I am paying quite a high premium for me & the kids on a 'if ever we needed it I'd hate to have not got cover' basis....premium for self plus extra for one kid, others the free. I think 'child' includes including young adults in fulltime education but do check policies thoroughly & cross ref benefits/costs & possibly put a renewal date that works around school year.
